Frequently Asked Questions (and Answers!)

1.) How does the GAF select those communities which they support?

The Global Access Foundation is constantly expanding their network and building relationships throughout the global community.  We find the inspiration for various projects thanks to our volunteers who may have an awareness of a particular need among a group of people and understands ways in which support can be provided.  We are always open to the ideas, possible solutions and encouragement provided by our partners, volunteers and visitors.  Please feel free to contact us and share a passion you may have for helping those in need.

2.) How does the GAF receive funding?

Funding is provided primarily through various group or individual sponsors, partners and/or volunteers.  We do accept donations, however, the Global Access Foundation values your time, knowledge and inspiration just as much.  Feel free to connect with us.

3.) What specific service(s) do you provide?

The GAF acquires the resources and relationships to help feed the hungry, distribute basic medical supplies and develop community leaders.  No project or undertaking is too small, however.  For example, we have organized group cleaning efforts in the past to help prevent cooperative housing units from becoming condemned, resulting in families being able to stay in their homes.

4.) How can I get involved?

We welcome anyone to join us in bettering our world, by breaking the cycle of poverty and hunger.  Feel free to sign our guest book, send us an email, give us a call, or submit your contact information and we'll gladly get in touch to say hello.  We don't equate "involvement" to long-term commitment; so don't worry if you can't give us all your time!  Involvement can include offering project ideas, solutions, information, donations, or one-time project support.

5.) What / When / Where is the next project?

Please check our Project & Events Calendar here (coming soon), to view our upcoming work.  We invite you to join us as we put ideas to action; build bridges, community and hope!
